Global Payroll Consultant Jobs

Requirements (years of experience, educational background, technical skills, etc.):

• Brings identified problems with recommended solutions to the attention of management.

• Ability to meet operational deadlines coupled with ad hoc crisis management.

• 5-7 years of related experience, OR equivalent.

• Communication – Highly developed communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

• Assists with gathering, deriving, and processing input to the payroll system to support gross-to-net calculations.

Provide payroll-related guidance on matters such as compliance, benefits, and policies;

Utilize knowledge of multiple payroll systems to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions;

Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll data, including payroll taxes and deductions;

Communicate regularly with constituents to answer questions and address problems;

Perform regular audits to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance;

Communicate professionally and regularly with global payroll support vendors to ensure timely, accurate processing, and knowledge of local requirements

Work with 3rd party benefit vendors implementing processes to manage employee and payroll data exchanges (ex. perquisites, pension schemes)

Manage planning and execution of activities related to payroll, including communications and training of staff

Travel as needed to meet client project requirements

Process and record individual country payroll and related transactions in accordance with deadlines, collating various internal sources of information

Research and propose resolution of any data conflicts that impact payroll processing
