Global Medical Information Intern Jobs

Must be able to demonstrate basic patient skills and skill in the use of supplies and assigned equipment.

Medical Assistant-Optometry Experience, Opthamology (retinal picture/ camera experience), eye clinic experience

Must have completed training through an accredited Medical Assistant training program.

Must have current Hearing and Vision Screening Certificate within 90 days of hire and/or placement in job.

Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and PHHS staff.

Must be able to demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behaviors.

Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of pertinent Global regulatory and compliance requirements and ensures deliverables are in alignment with such requirements.

Proficient in Medical Information content and inquiry management systems

Provide business stakeholders with actionable insights and recommendations based on knowledge of product/therapeutic area as well as customer interactions.

Support the team’s understanding and compliance with policies, procedures, and processes

Contributes to departmental project/task assignments; support the execution of project plans and initiatives.

Performs ongoing literature reviews and extracts complex data from scientific literature and arranges the data in an organized format.

Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask

Proficiency in Medical Information Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and cloud-based content management systems (e.g., SharePoint, Veeva)

Collaborate with groups outside MA (Medical Information global, Patient Experience, Legal, Commercial, Compliance, etc.) as appropriate

Verify Medical Information Request Forms (MIRFs) from the field sales force are unsolicited per applicable country requirements

Demonstrated experience in Medical/Drug information communication and management with a customer focus as well as continuous improvement of processes/assets

Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills

Experience leading projects and teams

Gene Therapy, rare disease experience and new product launch experience preferred

Apply scientific expertise consistent with the regulatory/compliance landscape to deliver high quality medical information

Work cross functionally with the broader organization to develop/update SRDs

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Hours: Able to work full time and be flexible with work scheduling as required by clients and management.

Utilize writing skills for adverse event and product complaint narrative during intake as well as documentation of medical inquiry.

On-call responsibilities on an as assigned basis.

Education: Life sciences degree, post-secondary education in healthcare-related field or equivalent healthcare credentials.­

The Medical Information Contractor’s responsibilities will include the following:

• Limits corporate liability by meeting the medical ethical and legal responsibilities of providing product/device related information

• Serves as an educational resource to both internal and external customers

• 1-3 years’ experience with providing medical information to customers

• Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

• MS Office; Experience with MI Systems a plus, but not required

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in a scientific field.

• Min 2 years medical writing experience; previous work experience in a global medical information group, preferred.

• Strong writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ideal candidate should have proficiency with MS Office, PowerPoint, EndNote; Veeva Vault MedComms experience is preferred.

• Effective literature searching, fact-checking, and data summarization skills.

• Knowledge of Vaccine and Infectious Diseases/Products.

Loading documents and references into the document review and storage system (Veeva Vault), and helping manage workflows

Fluent in English with excellent writing and editorial skills

Previous experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry

Knowledge of oncology and related biomolecular processes

Scientific writing experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical field

Excellent written and oral communication skills
