Gis Resource Assistant Jobs

College-level course work may substitute for the general experience requirement based on 45-quarter units per year.

This is a management service position, not represented by a union.

Three years progressively responsible administrative, clerical or record-keeping support experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience assisting customers in the interpretation of laws, rules or policies

Experience working with confidential information such as: birth dates, social security numbers, employee pay

Desirable Knowledge, Abilities & Skills/Desirable Training & Experience

Knowledge of map production procedures and techniques to create high quality maps applying cartographic principles.

Nature of Work/Examples of Work Performed

Perform quality control on various datasets to ensure data accuracy.

Ability to logically analyze computer system and programming problems and develop workable solutions.
