Fund Accounting Associate Jobs

Experience with SEC reporting requirements (10Qs/10Ks), a plus

Maturity, presence, sound judgment, and ability to form and express opinions effectively to cross-divisional teams including senior management.

Experience with open-end funds and private equity funds

Experience working with external service providers, particularly fund administrators

Experience in public and private fund accounting, closing, and reporting processes - US GAAP and Investment Company accounting

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

3+ years’ experience in an accounting role, preferably at a Big 4, PE firm or fund administrator

Knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for Investment Funds

Team player with strong organizational, excellent interpersonal, communication and client service skills with ability to see projects to completion

Demonstrate solid computer and/or other required business application skills.

Possess general knowledge of the functions involved in other operations groups.

Good numerical and analytical abilities

Good communication skills – both verbal and written

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related discipline preferred

Experience working with large sets of data a plus
