Associates degree, or related on-the-job experience, with an interest in history and informal education.

A minimum of two years of work-related experience, with preference given to experiences related to education, presentations, or tours.

An outgoing personality with good public speaking skills and the ability to work well with people of all ages and backgrounds.

Punctuality and reliability as tours are scheduled and timed experiences.

Welcome, check in, and brief customers on tour regulations and safety practices as each tour begins.

Keep current with exhibit content and standard operations of the Museum.

Participate in a three-week training course including weekly four-hour meetings and evaluation by Education staff.

Maintain a high quality of visitor experience, hospitality and professionalism in all environments.

Previous experience working with the public (e.g. customer service, retail, teaching).

Strong interest in education, contemporary arts and culture.

Pouring beer to visitors and explaining our beers and processes

Have customer service experience. Experience in a visitor center or public tour service preferred.

Greets and registers guests; distributes any required identification badges or safety devices.

Provides guests and visitors with initial safety and administrative information and direction.

Conducts tour or excursion while providing interesting and entertaining information about popular locations or specific points of interest.
