Knowledge Skills And Abilities (KSAs)

Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information.

Working knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare eligibility and benefit regulations.

Ensures social worker compliance with the company and Social Work educational requirements.

Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to follow-up in a timely manner.

Demonstrates working knowledge of resources and treatment centers including mental health and substance abuse services and facilities.

Possess written and verbal communications skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences, including non-medical people.

General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), electronic health records (EHR).

Master's: Social Work or related field

In depth understanding of the implications of illness, hospice and/or home care death and the dynamics of grief.

Ability to interpret a variety of data and instructions, furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
