Freight Accounts Payable Analyst Jobs in New York

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field.

Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures.

Good time management and organizational skills

Process all travel and entertainment expenses in Expense Management System

Must have analytical experience attention to detail, planning, organizing, scheduling, monitoring and problem analysis & solving skills.

Assisting with monthly closings and account analysis and supporting the senior accountant in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.

Strong project management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines, deliver results and manage multiple tasks without compromising on quality.

Experience with AP functionality of ERP systems; Oracle Cloud Fusion knowledge is highly preferred.

Knowledgeable with the Procure to Pay process with the ability to create purchase orders and requisitions.

BA/BS degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, IT or related field.

Experience working as an administrator and the processing of expense reports through Concur preferred.

Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and present financial information clearly and concisely.

Managing Legal Tracker e-billing platform (including matter setup/management, vendor management, invoice management, reports management, timekeeper management, and new user training)

Managing department matters on various platforms, including SAP (vendor management, financial reporting) and Corcentric (invoice management)

Tracking all department expenses (including non-departmental expenses, team billable expenses, etc.) and related matter management information (e.g., project codes, account codes)

5 – 8 years of experience in Finance, 3+ years in Accounts Payable required

Manage NBA Policies Regarding Outside Legal Services (including compliance, revisions)

Maintaining Legal Department accounting files/information Coordinating with the Finance Department regarding all Legal Department and Player Health matters

Managing Legal Tracker e-billing platform (including matter setup/management, vendor management, invoice management, reports management, timekeeper management, and new user training)

Managing Legal Department and Player Health matters on various platforms, including SAP (vendor management, financial reporting) and Corcentric (invoice management)

Manage NBA Policies Regarding Outside Legal Services (including compliance, revisions)

Maintaining Legal Department accounting files/information Coordinating with the Finance Department regarding all Legal Department and Player Health matters

Creative problem-solving skills to assist in meeting business needs and seizing new opportunities, while mitigating risk and managing key relationships

Preparing monthly close/year-end close reports for Legal Department and Player Health (including sub group reports)
