Freelance Graphic Artist Jobs in Minnesota

Minimum two years’ experience in product art or equivalent certification.

Minimum two years customer service and data entry experience

Maintain superior level of accuracy while doing any work, particularly involving order management.

Perform other related duties in support of the Graphics, Customer Service and Documents Department as assigned by management.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience in telephone etiquette and protocol.

Knowledge of MacIntosh and PC platforms.

Pre-press knowledge of printing and production techniques

Knowledge of computer and software upgrades.

Skill in using Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Flash for print production and digital design.

Collect and upgrade knowledge of new industry trends, equipment and marketing strategies.

Ability to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Apply in-depth knowledge of CMYK, spot, flexographic and lithographic printing processes.

Interpret and apply information provided by Creative Visual Branding Manager, other artists, internal and external customers and related sources.

3-5 years’ experience in graphic design

Strong knowledge of Adobe graphics software (Illustrator, INDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) on an Apple/Mac platform.

Working knowledge of Filemaker, Suitcase Fusion, Microsoft Outlook/Word/Excel, PowerPoint and the Macintosh Operating System.

Prior experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry

Solid attention to detail with strong organization and project management skills.

Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, After Effects, and associated design software. Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Also provides marketing with cost estimates on a project-by-project basis regarding outside costs involved.

Works with Staff Photographer on coordinating and providing product, photo layouts and background concepts for various projects.

Coordinates with Staff Copy Writer on providing details, background, layouts and client direction for various projects.

Responsible for maintaining the job log for project tracking as well as individual tracking sheets in a timely manner.
