Create and manage BOMs in FlexPLM.

2-4 years’ experience in an apparel design firm responsible for like-tasks.

Contribute to the development of seasonal design platforms and concepts by identifying consumer relevant opportunities through market research.

Sketch and create Technical Packs to be handed to the Product Development team.

Attend Fittings and track and note all changes and communicate to team.

Keeps product knowledge current by shopping the competition, stores, and the market; makes recommendations to the assortment mix based on learnings.

Takes initiative to utilize product knowledge to find new resources and creative methods of sourcing product to impact the assortment.

Cost experience and creating cost charts.

Good judgment & decision-making skills (with an ability to get to root cause analysis).

Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising/Product Development/Design, Retail Management, General/International Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent professional experience

Partner on vendor strategy, product costing/placement, vendor communication and sample management related to assigned product categories.

Maintain all data points within Product Lifecycle Management tool (PLM)

Assist the Sourcing Manager in merchandise sourcing, costing and development of select product categories for O&O and SIS retail locations.

Aware of industry trends to help inform Sourcing strategies. Knowledge of commodity, manufacturing and category level trends for Softlines and/or Hardlines

Execute, under direction of Sourcing Manager, re-costing/re-development activities based on production challenges that impact item aesthetic.

Oversee and manage the full production cycle- from development to delivery.

Proactively manage internal process links with Design, Merchandising, and Sales.

Manage calendar to achieve on time placement dates to achieve to fulfillment and financial plans.

Manage all production variances with merchandising and design as well as all rework needs.

Manage a weekly shipping status report sent to merchandising and account executives.

Manage new factory onboarding process with QA team.
