Grading papers and exams in consultation with the course instructor

Attending lectures as needed to support grading activity

No student contact in discussion sections or office hours

The grader will grade work for an undergraduate microbiology course.

$3,750 per semester-length course for 45 assigned students. (Salary is on a per student basis.)

Bachelors degree and completion of an undergraduate microbiology course (or equivalent) required.

Trade school courses in related subjects and/or experience in another pattern company helpful.

2-3 years’ experience in computer and/or manual grading.

Sewing and garment construction knowledge required.

Computer skills necessary, desktop publishing environment.

Intermediate to advanced skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Assign piece names to all pattern’s pieces of each style.

Must be self-motivated team player, anxious and willing to learn new skills

Grade and inspect incoming materials

Direct customers throughout the facility

Sort and move materials as needed

Comply with all safety guidelines

All other duties as assigned
