Foundation Giving Officer Jobs in Illinois

Helps implement sound financial practices with regard to the deposit and management of funds.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience in business, education, or related field.

Plans, oversees, and manages receptions and other fundraising events.

Performs other duties assigned by the District 214 Education Foundation Executive Director.

Expert-level written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to responsiveness.

Entrepreneurial experience that proves the ability to recognize and act on fund raising opportunities that may be innovative or non-traditional.

Exceptional communication skills both oral and written to communicate in a dynamic and engaging way.

Partner with SVP External Affairs, President and CEO, and AVP, Transformational Giving on all aspects of transformational donor relationships.

Identify prospects, develop clear and collaborative strategies, support gift concepts and proposal preparation, and ensure stewardship.

Staff the Transformational Giving team as needed on donor engagement or solicitations.

Implement the team’s strategy to meet goals and objectives for assigned portfolio of transformational gift prospects capable of making significant gifts.
