They are also responsible for loading and unloading goods from vehicles, checking and maintaining the forklift, and keeping the work area clean and safe. Detailed Job Description Forklift Truck Drivers are responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. They must be able to safely and accurately operate the forklift in order to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. They must also be able to load and unload goods from vehicles, check and maintain the forklift, and keep the work area clean and safe. Forklift Truck Drivers must also be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of forklift operation
