Forging Supervisor Jobs

Skilled in forging process, all secondary processes, and quality requirements of the automotive markets.

Develops and implements training, monitors training and skill development of engineers and operators.

Self- starter, multi-tasked and detailed oriented, excellent computer and math skills.

BS, mechanical/industrial or related degree. 5-7 years of experience in forging manufacturing.

Strong interpersonal skills with team leader, coaching and mentoring ability.

Develops and implement monthly production plan with production, productivity, manpower, overtime, budget, and quality targets.

Demonstrated use of data-based decision making; six sigma experience a plus

Working knowledge of the regulatory environment in manufacturing including labor relations and environmental regulations

Forging and machining experience a plus

Strong organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Create a zero-injury safety culture

Lead the Forgeworks team in the development of quality systems and processes

Work to maximize capabilities and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

5+ years of experience working in industrial manufacturing.

Knowledge of forging design and associated equipment

Strong knowledge of forging metallurgy

Lead forging design reviews and development for new and complex parts from concept to production launch

Ensure continuous improvement by identifying, eliminating, and preventing obstacles to efficient product flow at required quality.
