Must have working knowledge of computers and commonly-used software.

Good communication skills and attention to detail is essential.

Must be able to maintain NCIC certification.

Conduct regular inventory and assist with procurement and receipt of laboratory equipment, reagents, and supplies.

Responsible for case file and quality control management. Assists with documentation for measurement uncertainty calculation.

Knowledge of the special precautions required to handle and package biohazardous materials is necessary.

Must possess accurate typing and computer skills, and effective communication skills.

Basic knowledge of laboratory practices

Working knowledge of computerized information systems/Microsoft Office suite.

Maintains an accurate inventory of reagents, supplies, instruments, evidence and certificates of analysis.
