Food Process Engineer Jobs

BS degree in Food Science or Engineering (if no degree, equivalent food industry experience will be considered); Food industry experience preferred

Excellent knowledge of basic safety, good laboratory practices and aseptic technique

Setup, clean, and maintain extrusion system

Clean and organize the Extrusion Pilot Plant (EPP)

Maintain inventory of raw materials and replenish as needed

Identify all equipment capabilities, utility & infrastructure requirements, and develops Process Flow Diagrams and layout concepts.

Perform field measurements to quantify design requirements.

Manage and drive design teams and coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors

Compose control narratives to assist in programming of processes as per customer requirements.

Regularly inspect that contractors appropriately manage adherence to client safety measures.

Regularly complete continuing education engineering and technical courses to further develop subject matter expertise.

• Experience in selection of safety devices and process safety management activities

• Previous work experience in sanitary piping & process systems would be a plus

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering

• Must be into FMCG or Food or beverages industry

• Work as an onsite Process Engineer in a process plant environment

• Deliver designs and Engineering packages related to process engineering for industrial plants.

3-5 years' experience in management and employee development.

Degree or Certification in Engineering or equivalent work experience required.

Support the Maintenance Manager during project implementation.

3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment or industrial programming.

Experience working with Rockwell's FactoryTalk and RS suite of programs.

Experience working with cross functional teams, in a dynamic environment.

Demonstrated proficiency in completing project justifications including payback analysis and management of complex project implementations.

Identify technical functionality that aligns with desired new business capabilities.

Plan and manage systems testing activities to measure user understanding and acceptance.

Minimum 5 years of Food manufacturing engineering experience preferred.

Advanced knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), SCADA, and alarming systems.

Experience with financial analysis/economic thinking around plant production costs and return on investments.
