Fixed Income Portfolio Analyst Jobs

Experience with onboarding and KYC (know-your-customer) requirements.

Centralize knowledge of KYC and CSR policies and procedures.

Provide real-time assistance to the business regarding existing clients and the products they are approved or not approved to trade.

Coordinate execution documentation and approvals for various products across multiple regions, and initiate connectivity requests for high and low touch trading

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint , etc. )

Operations Research, Information/Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Economics , but all majors considered

Experience with Bloomberg, and other technical data analysis / modeling tools desirable

Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s program graduating between December 2024 and May 2025

Strong quantitative and analytical skills - able to analyze numbers very well

Financial modeling experience is highly desired

Knowledge of accounting and ability to interpret financial statements is a plus

Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills are a must. Familiarity with Bloomberg is a plus

Knowledge of general capital markets as well as interest in DCM specific market

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Develop, test, and deploy quantitative solutions for use with both internal and external portfolio management systems.

Collaborate with both portfolio managers and IT personnel to help design interfaces with third party Portfolio Management analytics tools.

Portfolio Management & Trading: understanding the underlying investment strategies and executing on orders daily.

To undertake relevant associated performance reporting and administrative projects for the Portfolio Management team.

Excellent computer programming skills. The ideal candidate would be proficient in Python. Experience with Pandas/Polars, numpy, flask/dash preferred.

Analyze corporate actions and coordinate portfolio manager decisions with all applicable parties.

Investment management or sell-side experience desirable

Work with portfolio managers to build and monitor risk in portfolios, including management of cash flows, new idea generation and research

Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail

Knowledge of and interest in fixed income and credit markets

Curiosity, strong critical thinking skills, and passion for problem-solving

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

You demonstrate in-depth knowledge of portfolio construction, sectors within fixed-income markets, the securities and investment business, and Capital's investment process.

You demonstrate effective and influential written and oral communication skills with a diverse group of associates and senior business leaders.

You provide top-down sector expertise for other portfolio strategists/investors.

You create models, theses, and insights to help shape top-down strategies.

You develop and evolve processes for delivering solutions to a wide range of clients.

You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study; CFA certification is a plus.

You have a solid background in portfolio construction and ideally have experience in Emerging Markets or Investment Grade Credit.

You're well-versed in Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg; familiarity with VBA, Aladdin, , and Python is a plus.
