Detailed Job Description The First Assistant Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the golf course maintenance staff. This includes supervising the staff, scheduling work, and ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The First Assistant Superintendent is also responsible for developing and implementing maintenance plans and programs to ensure that the golf course is kept in excellent condition.
