Own the embedded software system design cycle from requirements through launch and beyond.

Support the Tech Support team with intimate product knowledge.

Knowledge of communication interfaces, such as SPI, I2C, I2S, UART, CAN, USB, BLE, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet.

Real time development experience with and without an RTOS.

Experience programing peripheral hardware at the register level.

Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational and follow-up skills.

Strong experience in software development, systems engineering, or software product management. or electrical engineering

Oversees the overall quality of work of the product management team

High: Extensive cross-functional/cross-organizational senior management interface; deals with complex strategic issues

Manages resources to complete programming projects, and designs detailed plans to ensure software systems are functioning properly

Expert business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection

Experience designing and developing software systems design tools and languages

Hands on and strong debugging skills/experience with embedded systems

Implement test plans to validate functional, performance and algorithm requirements

Video codec domain experience (one or more of H.264/H.265/VP9/AV1)

Strong programming skills with C/C++

A working knowledge of embedded hardware (digital, analog, RF) and previous experience of bare metal applications

2-5 years of work experience developing embedded firmware

Wireless experience with Bluetooth, WiFi, Zigbee, proprietary RF

Strong knowledge of bus protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART and SDIO

Develop firmware for new products including networking, control and power management circuits

Experience with wired and wireless networking communication protocols

Work with hardware prototypes to develop and test your software as part of a system engineering team

Work with the architecture and software teams to create an end to end solution for our customers

Participate in innovation activities to help envision new solutions for our customers while protecting your creativity thought patent applications.

BS Degree in Software or Computer Engineering

Experience with programming and configuring microcontrollers and low power management

Knowledge of C and other programming languages. Experience with GCC and IAR embedded development environments desired.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical\Computer Engineering or equivalent experience,

3-5 years’ experience desired, but will consider entry level.

Excellent knowledge of firmware design, code, and test,

Strong knowledge of embedded real-time operating systems, (OS, drivers, etc.)

Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.

Manages and expands relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on firmware design and development.

Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.

Extensive experience with multiple firmware design tools and languages.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.

Experience in overall architecture of firmware and interaction with hardware designs for products and solutions.

University or intern-related exposure to RTOS constructs including threads, scheduling, synchronization, memory management.

Course-level or work experience with embedded firmware development.

Practical experience and/or exposure to hardware systems and its interaction with embedded firmware.

Excellent analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills.

Design, develop, integrate, debug, and verify state of the art quality firmware for embedded SoC devices.

Learn aspects of relevant technical specifications and incorporate those details into firmware designs and implementations.
