KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES and CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and LANGUAGES

Knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE), Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and System Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) preferred.

Comply with all applicable quality management system, environmental, safety and occupational health policies. (for example, ISO 13485, ISO14001 & OSHAS18001).

The ability to interact with technical peers, manufacturing associates and all levels of management in a cross-functional team environment is required.

Provide training and education to peers and support groups as needed.

Performs other work related duties assigned by QA Manager of Operations or Quality Engineer.

7-10 years’ experience in production management or related field required (Jewelry industry preferred)

Exceptional organization and time management skills

Communicate with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting production

Understanding of business and management principles

Evaluate current and future business needs to assess, manage and mitigate potential risks to collection deadlines and key initiatives.

Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills

Friendly, accountable and professionally mature. Prioritizing customer and team member needs.

Performing ?offline? carpentry work while owning the custom work order from inception through to shipping/delivery.

Accurately and efficiently interpreting hardware templates.

Reviewing each work order for accuracy and seeking additional details where appropriate (additional correspondence, special tools/jigs, prep, source, etc.).

Engaging in continuous improvement efforts, examining workflows and providing feedback to current workflow processes to improve efficiency.

Maintaining a clean, efficient work environment and holding your team members accountable to the same standard(s).
