Finished Carpenter Jobs

The Nitty Gritty:

• Performing ?offline? carpentry work while owning the custom work order from inception through to shipping/delivery.
• Quality is critical! Assisting (or performing) the work necessary to fabricate the finished product(s) and prep for delivery (with extra packaging or protection if necessary).
• Accurately and efficiently interpreting hardware templates.
• Maintaining a clean, efficient work environment and holding your team members accountable to the same standard(s).
• Extremely accurate measuring skills will be critical to the success of this role (we do a lot of custom machining of doors to accept different varieties of commercial/residential hardware. This requires the use of both big and small door machining equipment).
• Reviewing each work order for accuracy and seeking additional details where appropriate (additional correspondence, special tools/jigs, prep, source, etc.).
• Utilizing the basic functions of WMS system; (including, but not limited to receive, put away, move, cycle inventory, select, and customer ship).
• Friendly, accountable and professionally mature. Prioritizing customer and team member needs.
• Engaging in continuous improvement efforts, examining workflows and providing feedback to current workflow processes to improve efficiency.
• Micromanaging of the door schedule (i.e., when doors are scheduled to hit the line) and proactively addressing questions, ensuring prep is complete and fully accompanying work orders as they go through the line.
