Carry out and support installation of new high-end complex systems, achieve optimum customer satisfaction, and ensure effective and efficient professional repairs.

Apply electronic theory and knowledge to perform operational tests, gather data, analyze faults, and perform repair/upgrade equipment.

Assists with special reports, engineering changes, failure analysis and any other requirements for product improvement and quality.

Responsible for following all proper safety requirements.

Improve current knowledge of state-of-the-art components and new products.

At least 4 years US Military experience required.

Must have experience and/or training with digital and analog circuitry as it applies to power equipment. Previous equipment experience is desired.

1 - 3 years of experience in field service and customer support.

Working knowledge of basic analog and digital circuits, electrical power circuits, PLC circuits.

Technical problem-solving, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills.

Develop/maintain relationships with key product line management, marketing, field and application engineering teams

Collaborate with FAEs to foster knowledge sharing

7-15 years’ experience in product, design, and/or field applications engineering or equivalent

Good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize/multi-task several concurrent projects

Experience in driving prototype evaluation, debugging, and testing

Incumbent serves as onsite conduit to Agfa management and Sales for customer issues: sales needs, political environment, staff changes, etc.

Experience and understanding of remote diagnostics

Maintains regular communications with Regional Manager to provide prompt escalation to difficulties and ensure customer satisfaction.

Promotes all Agfa offerings (i.e. System Maintenance Agreements, Professional Services, Products)

Documenting service activities and providing reports to management

Excellent verbal English skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

(Plus) Experience with regulatory affairs in medical devices

(Plus) Experience working with IT hardware and software components for troubleshooting purposes.

(Plus) Experience medical imaging field

Knowledge and experience working with centrifuges, incubators, cold storage, and/or smart-connected services and medical devices is a plus.

Knowledge and experience with computer technology including but not limited to, Microsoft Suites, hardware and software applications, etc.

Knowledge and experience with Customer Service is a plus.

Training curriculum to build the skills and competencies required to apply for a full-time service role.

Mentoring Program strategically partners each apprentice with an experienced field employee.
