Field Service Engineer Apprentice Jobs in New York

Must have electrical/mechanical experience relating to UPS systems, DC systems and knowledge of OEM's such as: Eaton, APC, GE, Emerson, etc.)

3 to 5 years of experience working within the critical power industry.

Complete paperwork and report all urgent repairs.

May need to work various shifts when needed.

All-around technical knowledge and practical skills

Experience with remote troubleshooting tools such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer.

Identify and implement process improvements within field team, while working with internal team to improve customer experience

Keeping up-to-date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service reports and internal service records

Meeting Environment Health & Safety and all other applicable regulatory requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience with service and/or manufacturing in bio-tech tech industry or laboratory

Interface with common technology support tools such as Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), Mobile Device/Mobile Application Management, Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware

Effective time management and excellent prioritization skills

Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSP)

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology related field, or 2+ years comparable experience in technology related customer support

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Hands-on hardware experience with desktops, laptops, and servers
