Araceli Biosciences delivers high-performance scientific tools for cell-based biomarker discovery, drug discovery and drug development. Araceli is transforming the high content imaging market and is looking for a passionate FSE to drive the drug discovery revolution.

Araceli Biosciences is seeking a Field Service Engineer (FSE) to join our growing team. The FSE will be responsible for installations and repairs of equipment and systems in the field. This includes working with new and existing product developments, development of troubleshooting procedures and leading product and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Basic troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs on Araceli equipment

• Collaborate with team to diagnose and repair customer issues on equipment and systems

• Implementing best practices for troubleshooting and customer interactions

• This job may include any aspect of product field support, including system hardware and software, and systems networking

• Identify and implement process improvements within field team, while working with internal team to improve customer experience

• Keeping up-to-date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining customer service reports and internal service records

• Maintaining daily communication with customers to ensure resolution and accurate follow-up, driving customer satisfaction

• Maintaining tools and test equipment, ensuring they are accurately calibrated

• Meeting Environment Health & Safety and all other applicable regulatory requirements

• Assist in the development of work instructions for field service personnel on service tools, repair, and installation

• Serve as lead to customers - installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and service repair needs

• Some international travel is required

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree of Science in Engineering or related field

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with service and/or manufacturing in bio-tech tech industry or laboratory

• Experience with imaging equipment and optics is preferred

• Experience managing a small team is preferred

• Excellent communicator

• All-around technical knowledge and practical skills

• Multidisciplinary trouble shooting skills

• Experience with remote troubleshooting tools such as AnyDesk or TeamViewer.

Requirements:

• Focus on customer needs and satisfaction, while building and fostering positive and professional relationships with both external and internal customers

• Up to 70% travel or more

• Maintain a Valid driver’s license

• Maintain a Valid Passport

• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, squatting, and standing are required.
