Family Services Program Associate Jobs

Comprehensive and authoritative knowledge of the principles and practices of serving youth and their caregivers in a large public library system.

Ability to plan and manage, directly and indirectly, 21st century library services.

Ability to recognize and set priorities, embrace and drive change initiatives, and to use collaborative and inclusive leadership skills.

1 year of specialized experience

Conducts evaluation and assessments of service operations and service delivery.

Recommends significant changes to policies, programs, approaches, or methods to further organizational and community goals, solve problems, and optimize services.

A combination of experience and education will be considered.

Provides proactive solutions to questions, offers guidance to access additional resources, and makes recommendations for further reading and viewing material.

Maintains knowledge and use of computers, Microsoft Office Products, and DCL software and platforms.

Assists with the onboarding of new employees through demonstrating skills and procedures.

One year of customer service experience

Leads and guides Habitat program participants to develop household money management and homeownership skills through individual coaching sessions and workshops;

Associate’s degree or higher in Human Services or commensurate experience in case management, loan origination or human services;

Maintains current certifications and industry knowledge through research, workshops, training and required compliance.

Schedules, coaches and provides support to program participants in meeting the ‘Sweat Equity’ requirements of the homeownership program;

Coordinates with mortgage team to maintain compliance with loan regulations and provide continuing education for staff and volunteers;

MS Office suite and database experience required;
