[Intern Position] NYC In-Person Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate sample sends out of the NYC office

Organize the beauty closet for product send outs/mailers

--Research (Market, competitors, latest developments in generative AI and health and fitness AI)

--Communications with potential partners, investors, and stake holders

--Assisting with Social media and community building

Collaborate with the press team on daily press activity to secure placements across all brand relevant titles

Partner with Press Closet Coordinator for the organization of the PR closet and showroom

Assist with tracking all press samples on loan for PR opportunities

Assist in coordinating samples with international shoots taking place in NY

Work with Press Closet Coordinator on logistics paperwork, shipments, and arranging messengers

Check in all sample returns from photo shoots and celebrity fittings

Assist with management of trackers and calendars

Support the Client Experience Team through the phases of planning, organizing and execution of various aspects of Fragrance and Beauty.

Support with creative brainstorm for ideas in client experiences and hospitality

Retail experience within Cosmetics (either Fragrance/Beauty/Skincare) is a preferred

Previous Internship Experience in Fashion or Luxury is a plus

Ability to manage multiple projects and work assignments

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University

Major or minor in art, art history, or a closely related field

Proficiency in Google Platforms (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Proficiency in Adobe Platforms (Lightroom, Photoshop)

Manage, track, and update the day-to-day client tasks within your respective teams

Current enrollment in a Communications, Marketing or related educational field

Self-motivation, good organizational skills, detail-orientation, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong writing abilities with the ability to write clear, public-facing materials, including blogs to tweets to research memos, quickly

Excellent computer skills including Google Suite products, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

End of semester project application to real work experience

Work alongside PR coordinator to manage samples, handle send-outs/returns, schedule messengers, etc. for editorial and VIP placements

Ability to take initiative and perform tasks in a self-sufficient manner

Public Relations and Showroom Intern

who will report to thePR Director, starting September 2023 for approx. 3 months.

The brand is available worldwide through directly operated retail stores, wholesale and online franchises and partnerships.

There are over 100 boutiques in cities such as Milan, Paris, Dubai, Hong Kong and Beijing.

Working closely with Madwell project teams to contribute to client work

Shadowing project leaders to gain awareness and understanding of agency processes

Participating in internal briefings, discussions, and creative reviews

Collaborating with other interns on an internal group project

Performing research into brands we work with and their competitors

Collaborating with the DEI panel to help brainstorm new initiatives for Madwell and its clients

Supporting enterprise systems including Finance & HR solutions

Assess security vulnerabilities and prepare recommendations for fixing and tracking progress

Maintaining all regional technical infrastructure such as networks, computing, datacenters, connectivity, and mobile technologies

Managing Retail Systems and leading Omnichannel enablement

Evolving Business Intelligence and Analytics Systems

Delivering sustainable technology solutions for company’s supply chain operations

Support with performing account reconciliations, such as gift cards, and investigating any discrepancies

Assist with monthly journal entries and perform true ups for accounts

Review check requests from stores and assist with preparing the necessary documentation to be submitted to Accounts Payable for processing

Support the Accounting department with various ad-hoc projects, including year-end audit

Enrolled in an Associates, Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program

Excel expertise including utilizing Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, H-Lookups, Index/Match, Sumifs preferred
