Fall Gallery Intern Jobs

About Our Program

Hal Bromm Gallery offers this internship to talented and driven art history majors, art majors and closely related fields who seek college academic credit.

As an intern, youwill learn how to assist in planning, curating and installing exhibitions, conducting price evaluation research, facilitating sales, and drafting promotional press releases. The position is a hands-on learning experience that has led former interns to important full-time gallery positions at major NYC galleries. Interns liaise with artists, collectors and representatives from museums and galleries in New York and around the world.

Applicants should have a keen interest in learning the business side of art, curating gallery exhibitions, relationships with artists, and cultivating collectors.

Fall Cohort:

September 5 - December 22, 2023

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Major or minor in art, art history, or a closely related field
• Proficiency in Google Platforms (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
• Junior or senior standing
• Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
• Proficiency in Adobe Platforms (Lightroom, Photoshop)
