Facilities Zone Manager Jobs

Demonstrated experience in integrated facilities management, preferably in an educational or public sector environment.

Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications or professional affiliations are a plus.

Proven vendor management skills, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.

Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications.

Strong knowledge of soft services, including custodial operations and grounds maintenance.

Minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in Foodservice Sales Management.

Ensures Business Development Manager develops and focuses on key targeted accounts and segments in geographic zone.

Works with Business Development manager to update targeted account list and key segment focus semi-annually.

Accompanies Business Development Managers at least semi-annually to help drive new product approvals and placements with targeted account list.

Manages projects with R & D and Marketing team to expedite new business development.

Coordinates work with Culinary Support manager to ensure alignment and support for the BDM in the zone.

Bachelors degree REQUIRED - perfer Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related major

Lead team of salaried Operations Managers and Frontline employees

Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills

Responsible for people and team development, quality performance, cost, service and safety

Develop individuals and the team to solve operational issues

Motivate the team to achieve performance targets

Bachelor of Science in engineering, architecture and/or master's in construction management, architecture or similar areas of study.

Prior work experience in a higher education setting.

A Services Manager position may have additional specific requirements, depending upon assigned duties.

Four years of facilities-related supervisory experience for individuals with Bachelor of Arts and/or higher non-science or other facilities-appropriate degrees.

Supervisory experience in a unionized environment.

Must be capable of achieving S.A.V.E certification.

Maintains current knowledge in the field of facilities management/maintenance/security;

A Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.

Five years of related experience including two years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Manages and inspects facilities within assigned zone to maximize safe, efficient and cost-effective operations and minimize unplanned repairs;

Manages and supervises assigned division staff and contractors; verifies timesheets for accuracy and compliance with contracts, policies and procedures;

Creates annual and quarterly plans addressing needs of facilities; follows up on planned work;
