Five (5) years of related experience.

Receive, check, and store custodial supplies. Maintain inventory and communicate purchasing needs to Office Manager.

Reports needed repairs to building hardware, plumbing, equipment, and furniture to Office Manager and/or School Leader(s).

Set up a conference center for special events and meetings to meet school function requirements.

Professional skills for collaboration and teamwork with all stakeholders; Written and oral communications skills.

• One to two years of related experience and/or training

Evaluation of education records will be due at time of appointment.

2. Training and Experience Exam

Maintain and repair City facilities, equipment, and buildings by performing carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, and welding duties approaching the journey level.

Install, maintain, and repair carpeting, floor tile, linoleum, wood floors, ceramic tile, and other surfaces.

Operate mechanical saws, buffers, lathes, drills, paint sprayers, drill presses, arc and acetylene welding units, and other shop machinery and tools.

Fabricate, using metal and wood materials, in order to build and repair brackets, braces, and fasteners.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in facilities management position with acceptable certifications and education

Loyal and trustworthy with uncompromising integrity who has the experience and Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and meets Expectations for the position.

Procures bids and contracts required for all improvements. Coordinates in-house retrofit and cosmetic improvement program as directed by management.

Extremely organized and detail oriented and possesses great observational skills.

Is a proactive and results driven manager.

Has a knowledge of repairs and seasonal openings and closings of the club operations.

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Minimum of 1-year previous facilities maintenance, janitorial, or engineering experience.

Some computer and e-mail skills.

Must have the ability to complete required safety classes that pertain to specific job duties.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member in a demanding service environment.
