Facilites Maintenance Manager Jobs in Illinois

Proven facility management experience including, strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and general construction practices

Develop and manage the facilities department budget

Manage and schedule maintenance and custodial staff of 100+

Experience with multiple sites strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of building systems and construction

Develop and execute a maintenance plan for physical school facilities including preventative maintenance

HVAC Certification Helpful but not required

Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.

Perform repairs and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.

Inspect and monitor facility systems for safety and efficiency.

Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Provide assistance to other departments in the facility as needed.

Repair current and outstanding items and make educational predictions of facility needs for events and resets

Well versed in tool knowledge

Paint skills, Carpentry, Finish work
