The Journalism Intern should have the following skills, education, and experience:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) are required

Ability to work remotely and on their own schedule in order to make deadlines

Conduct and record quality “On the Street” interviews for our Social Media and website.

  5 years of industry experience in the field as a multi-skilled journalist.

  Direct newsroom operations, review scripts, and manage schedules

  Work with the news director and other managers to establish newsroom goals and work to develop and further brand

  Bachelor’s degree in journalism, related field, and/or news leadership experience

  Strong planning and organizational skills

  Collaborate to execute long-term newsroom strategy

Strong knowledge base and project management skills relevant to the industry

Assists the project management team with project strategies and implementation plans.

Assists the project management team in clients management.

Trains and guides project teams in communication and risk management.

Promote and update best practices in production and project management.

Assigns the best project management team according to the type of customer and the nature of the projects.

A mix of demonstrated skills, abilities and knowledge may be considered in place of educational requirements.

At least 3-5 years' management experience in a news organization is required.

A resume detailing education, training, and employment experience.

Demonstrate leadership and experience for other staff members, providing coaching, instruction and guidance as needed.

Manage staff of Multimedia Journalists (Investigative).

Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
