Event Captain Jobs

Assist in anticipating guests’ needs and ensure that service meets/exceeds expectations to ensure a memorable and pleasant dining experience.

Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word and Excel.

Inspect dining room, table settings, chairs, floors, proper maintenance, cleanliness and safety.

Check tables throughout service times for Member satisfaction, and assist in resolving guest issues.

Professional, articulate, friendly, and punctual.

Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.

Event Captain Skills And Experience

You are known for having exceptional problem-solving skills.

You have experience with and enjoy nurturing and managing teams.

You are an experienced server who wants more variety and responsibility.

Manage all Front of the House aspects of the event including set-up, serving meals and beverages, and take-down.

1-2 years of catering or banquet Front of the House experience

Submit Event Recaps to Events Management.

Two to three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Communicates with managers, chefs, and service staff about event/catering timing and any special requests.

Ensures the ending of the event is a pleasant experience.

Gathering all essential event and staffing information prior to event start.

Overseeing the setup of all tables/areas and supplies, including buffet items, A/V equipment, outside decorations etc.
