Job Description of Equipment Technician An Equipment Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of a variety of equipment. They must be knowledgeable in the operation of a variety of tools and machines, and be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and customer service skills
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in a related field
• Previous experience in equipment maintenance and repair
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of tools and machines used in equipment maintenance and repair
