They must be knowledgeable in the operation of the equipment, as well as the safety protocols associated with it. They must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and be able to repair or replace faulty parts. Detailed Job Description An Equipment Service Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of a variety of equipment. This includes but is not limited to: medical equipment, industrial machinery, computer systems, and other electronic devices. They must be knowledgeable in the operation of the equipment, as well as the safety protocols associated with it. They must be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and be able to repair or replace faulty parts. They must also be able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
