Job Description
Come and build your career with us! Tri-State Bobcat, a premier leader in compact equipment is training and promoting. We are looking for an Equipment Service Technician/Mechanic!
Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am -5:00 pm
Location: Hudson, Wisconsin
The Equipment Service Technician/Mechanic is responsible for servicing and repairing the extensive line of compact construction, forestry and grounds maintenance equipment which we represent. Success in this position is heavily dependent upon strong mechanical and problem solving skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Maintain company safety standards and work area organization and cleanliness
  • Diagnose and repair equipment as needed
  • Obtain or order parts needed for repairs
  • Inspect and test equipment when work completed
  • Communicate job progress to service manager
  • Work safely and independently with little supervision
  • Willing to participate in all training programs, including limited out of state training and keep current on new equipment updates
  • Perform required preventive maintenance
  • Check work orders for complete and accurate descriptions of work performed and proper parts and labor is accounted for
Requirements
  • Complete set of tools that you can build on to with our tool allowance program
  • Experience operating a Bobcat or similar compact construction equipment
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good time management skills with the ability to complete work as scheduled
  • Experience with hydraulic/hydrostatic systems and electrical systems and troubleshooting
  • Previous experience as a mechanic in diesel engine repair and service
  • Strong computer skills
