They use their knowledge of environmental and social sciences to identify and analyze potential risks and impacts, and develop strategies to mitigate them. They also provide advice and guidance to project teams on how to reduce or eliminate potential impacts. They may also be responsible for developing and implementing environmental and social management plans, monitoring project progress, and reporting on project performance.
