Environmental Review Specialist Senior Jobs

Excellent project and time management skills.

Between two to three years of people management, and demonstrated successful merit review management experience;

Previous experience with independent research, grant writing, scientific or peer review, and/or contract management is required.

Help facilitate the open flow of information between PCORI’s Science, Engagement, and Contract Management teams.

Professional interaction with scientific, clinical and or lay reviewers and successful management of multi-stakeholder workgroups or panels;

Identify and manage conflicts of interest for all scientific reviewers;

Bachelor’s Degree and education or experience in natural or physical science, environmental management, or related subjects

1+ years of direct experience in providing environmental review services.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, including ability to prioritize and multi-task under strict deadlines.

Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to succeed with new and challenging tasks.

Washington, Oregon, or Remote within Pacific Northwest

Provide expertise in HUD regulations at 24 CFR Part 58

All applicants must meet the requirements in ORS 700.030.

Must meet Environmental Health Specialist requirements as outlined by ORS 700.030.

Background, reference, and education checks

Respond and investigate complaints and food borne illnesses in child and adult care facilities

Monitor and participate in the preparation of the budget for the licensed childcare and residential care area

Project Management knowledge and/or credential strongly preferred

Act as Project Manager for environmental program execution including regulatory compliance activities, reclamation activities, and cross functional site activities

Lead environmental site assessments and manage environmental contractor activities.

Prepare written, oral, tabular, and graphic reports summarizing requirements and compliance activities

Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with Civitas Environment, Safety & Regulatory requirements

Assist with field incident reporting and data entry as part of the EHS Incident On-Call Team

Knowledge of City of Austin Land Development Code related to tree regulations.

Experience in customer service and dispute resolution.

Knowledge of environmental and engineering regulations, codes and rules.

Knowledge of Federal, State, Local laws.

Knowledge of city practice, policy, and procedures.
