Detailed Job Description Environmental Planners are responsible for researching, analyzing, and developing plans to protect the environment and promote sustainable development. They work with government agencies, private companies, and non-profit organizations to develop plans that balance economic, social, and environmental objectives. They may also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of plans, and providing advice and guidance to stakeholders. Job Skills Required
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies
• Ability to analyze data and develop plans

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, planning, or a related field
• Master’s degree in environmental planning or a related field preferred
• Professional certification in environmental planning or a related field preferred
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of environmental regulations and policies
• Knowledge of sustainable development principles
• Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS)
• Knowledge of project management principles

• Previous experience in environmental planning or a related field preferred
