They work with government agencies, private companies, and non-profit organizations to develop plans that balance economic, social, and environmental objectives. Detailed Job Description Environmental Planners are responsible for researching, analyzing, and developing plans to protect the environment and promote sustainable development. They work with government agencies, private companies, and non-profit organizations to develop plans that balance economic, social, and environmental objectives. They may also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating the implementation of plans, and providing advice and guidance to stakeholders. Job Skills Required

Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, planning, or a related field

• Knowledge of sustainable development principles
• Knowledge of geographic information systems (GIS)
• Knowledge of project management principles
Job Experience
• Previous experience in environmental planning or a related field preferred
• Previous experience working with government agencies, private companies, and non-profit organizations preferred
