Entry Level Landscape Architect Professional Jobs

Manages project resources to ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on schedule.

1+ years previous work/internship experience is considered a plus.

Assists in coordinating with clients to set up site visits and complete deliverables.

Assists in the production of project reports summarizing findings and conclusions.

Researches and reviews and interprets relevant building codes and standards. .

Assists in the development of repair drawings ensuring adequate coordination across disciplines.

Experience with alternative 3D software and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a plus

Experience in developing detailed 3D models and 3D REVIT Families

Knowledge of landscape architectural and hardscape design principles.

Experience working from conceptual design through construction.

Experience collaborating with civil engineers.

Experience with 3D modeling (AutoCAD, Rhino) for analysis and design,

The ability to work on a team and under management of senior design staff.

Excellent graphic skills, including digital and hand graphics.

Experience in Revit and 3D Max are a plus.

Experience in construction documentation, details, and contract administration are a plus.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Landscape Architecture with zero to three years of experience.

Collaboration with multiple disciplines, clients, and the public

Implementation of design ideas from conceptual planning phases through design detailing and construction administration

Site analysis that considers the broad economic, social, ecological, and aesthetic considerations of a place

2-5 years of design experience

Obtained a LAAB accredited degree that allows for licensure in the state of hire

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word & Excel

Electronic Portfolio or link to portfolio is required with application

Must be able to develop good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Skill with AutoCAD, Microstation and related software

Collect project data and requirements

0-2 years of related experience to Civil/Site and or Land Development projects

Advanced knowledge of landscape architecture, AutoCAD and plant material for design and vegetation inventories

Working knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Sketch Up, Photoshop/Illustrator/Visual/Land FX. Lumion program

Working knowledge of MS Office

Participate in initial set up, progress and detailing of sight and landscape plans working with AutoCAD

Education and Exposure to urban design and mixed-use environments.

Arborist Experience, Licensure is a plus

Bachelor’s Degree in Planning or Landscape Architecture

Familiarity with regulatory codes and entitlement processes.

Software proficiency: AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, and SketchUp is required.

Basic understanding of plant material, grading and drainage, and construction materials.

Demonstrated 1-3 years’ experience as a landscape architect and/or landscape designer in professional site design

Experience with Land F/X and BIM (Revit)

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams including ecologists

Experience in or an eagerness to learn the use of biomimicry in design solutions

Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture

Demonstrated ability to collect, organize, interpret, and present data in creative ways to team members and clients
