Entry Level Documentation Support Specialist Jobs

Has knowledge of proofreading symbols.

Knowledge of labeling regulations and standards preferred.

Previous experience working within a change control system is helpful.

Reviews, proofreads, and approves labeling components and change control documentation (e.g., Labels, Instructions for Use, Patient Guides).

Responsible for proofreading labeling at various stages.

Reads original copy or proof to detect and mark any grammatical, typographical, or compositional error.

Experience with credentialing or healthcare operations, and/or knowledge of HIPAA, NCQA, or URAC is a plus.

Demonstrate strong telephone communication and etiquette skills.

Must be detail-oriented and have critical thinking skills.

Must have excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections.

Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrate strong influencing and closing skills.

Execute customer projects as directed by the Client Support Lead.

Update managers/supervisors with feedback from customers to improve services or provide recognition of staff members

Identify and request documents as needed for products and services

Outreach to primary care physicians

Coordination of outreach to patients or responsible parties

Coordination of outreach to Sales

Calling responsible parties, facilities for needed assistance

Compile, sort, and file and block ticket/title records, as well as perform other elements of title management as required.

Accurately identify needs through meaningful conversations and promote solutions with minimal supervision. Escalate complex inquiries to management.

Determine when necessary to escalate inquiry to Documentation Support Specialist II or management.

Performs other office duties and special functions as delegated or requested by management.

Answer incoming office phone calls. Exercise diplomacy and good communication skill in receiving telephone inquiries.

Maintain a working knowledge of policies, basic title laws, and procedures. Stay abreast of changes in documentation standards and regulations.

Minimum of 1 year professional level work experience

Previous experience in a client service oriented field preferred

Ability to operate a computer in basic terms as well as coaching and trouble-shooting for others

Provide support for technical requests and flex services with a "can do" attitude and philosophy

Field incoming support requests from end users via telephone, email and service desk system queue in a courteous and timely manner
