Engineer Research Development Jobs

A Bachelor's degree in an engineering or related technical discipline. Equivalent work experience will be considered.

A minimum of 1 year of professional work experience (internships and Coop will be included, medical device experience preferred)

Experience with test protocols with standard testing equipment (Instron, etc.)

Experience with statistical analysis software (Minitab, Excel, etc.)

Experience with CAD tools (Solidworks experience preferred)

Experience designing, manufacturing, and troubleshooting early prototype hardware

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree +2 years professional experience PhD or equivalent

Mechanical design for consumer electronic devices

Exposure to analog electronics, preferably mechatronic systems utilizing actuators, temperature sensors, strain gauges, or photodiodes

Academic or Industrial research related to health/physiological signal sensing

Intellectual versatility - we typically work on new technology and features, which means we are constantly learning about new domains

Manage execution of the project requirements to cost and schedule objectives

Be able to manage schedule and think creatively to implement unique solutions

Material and Process Engineering experience in composite material systems

Understanding of AMS2750 and how it applies to composite manufacturing

HMI development and standardization for cure equipment

Identify and own R&D projects that will save money and/or reduce labor for multiple programs
