Knowledge and experience of heathland management

Knowledge and experience of woodland management

Habitat management as defined by the reserve's management plan and agri-environment agreement

Assist with management and welfare of the reserve livestock

Assist with ensuring legal compliance of conservation & land management operations

Experience and qualifications in chainsaw use.

Ability to work remotely with limited supervision.

Work with Audubon staff and partners to identify colonial waterbird nesting sites.

Conduct regular colonial waterbird monitoring at islands.

Develop reports documenting the arrival of colonial water birds to islands, nesting behavior, and nest success.

Identify and document stressors limiting nesting success.

When needed, remove stressors limiting nesting success , such as fire ants, raccoons, coyotes, and feral cats.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience in dog law enforcement work and graduation from high school; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
