Experience in skilled care, acute care, primary care physician practice, prehospital, or hospital emergency medical care

Experience in a correctional or detention setting

An additional $1.25 per hour for hours worked between 3:00pm - 11:00pm

An additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 11:00pm - 7:00am

Perform emergency management methods such as first aid, rescue techniques, and threat assessments.

Perform emergency medical techniques including patient assessment, patient treatment, rescue breathing, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Perform operator maintenance emergency motor vehicles and equipment.

This position is located at Moncrief Army Health Clinic, Fort Jackson SC.

As an Emergency Medical Technician you will:

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:

Typical emergency management clinical environment with frequent standing and walking.

Current certification as a Certified Emergency Medical Technician by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security, Emergency Medical Service Commission.

Knowledge of healthcare policies, and governmental regulations, pertinent to Ambulance Department.

Sufficient knowledge to observe and report changes in patient condition.

Strong customer service skills, with special emphasis on patient centered care.
