Experience in embedded software development using programming languages like C/C++ and familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS).

10+ years of software development experience in a test driven environment

Extensive experience with one of the following languages: C, C++, Go, Rust

Manage in a cross-functional team through initial specification, development, design reviews, virtual commissioning, installation, buy-offs, and start of production.

BS/MS Software Engineering (or equivalent – Majors in: Data Sciences, etc) or Applicable work experience

Experience Designing software for streaming mechanisms: Kakfa, RabitMQ, JetStream, etc

Experience Designing DB schemas, and interfaces: ScyllaDB, Cassandra, CockroachDB, etc

8+ years of relevant work experience

Object-oriented programming experience (Python preferred)

Experience building cross-platform software with source control (Git)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Develop software for an automated validation framework, supporting continuous integration and nightly tests

Research, design, develop, and maintain software tools for development and validation

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.

2 years of experience with performance, large scale systems data analysis, visualization tools, and/or debugging.

Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.

Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.

Experience with a test management tool and bug tracking system (e.g., TestRail and Jira)

The responsibilities of the Embedded Firmware/Software Engineering position include the following:

Solution Design, Development, and Implementation

Developing drivers to interact with various embedded hardware peripheral devices

Formulating testing strategies for implemented code and executing those strategies

Learning new programming languages as necessary to control or interact with existing software or embedded hardware platforms

3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Working in a cross-functional environment to define multi-dimensional performance requirements (e.g., MIPs, memory BW)

Make performance and optimization trade-offs to meet end-to-end use case requirement

Design, develop, integrate and bring up Kuiper-MAC FW components/drivers in a real-time embedded environment

Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze input from multiple sources (customers, sales, engineering, marketing, competitor, and management)

Developing technical knowledge of complex software systems, including enterprise, middleware, firmware, and embedded systems

Proficiency using firmware design tools and languages. Strong, demonstrable coding skills in C and C+

Strong written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language

Bachelor's degree in relevant area or demonstrated competence. Typically 2-4 years of related experience.

Contributes to the complete product development cycle in order to meet defined deliverables

Experience with SoCs such as PSoC or Zynq.

Experience with the design of hardware interfaces such as I2C, RS-232 and SPI.

Experience with embedded Linux systems, especially on ARM cores.

BS degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Experience creating web-based GUIs or Qt/GTK-based GUIs is a plus.
