Strategically integrate science learning and standards into math lessons to create a cross-disciplinary learning experience for students

100% remote, $30-35 per one hour lesson

Minimum 3 years tutoring experience

Working directly with students and tailoring lessons to their specific needs & goals

Communicating with students and parents regarding schedule

Consult with other curriculum designers to ensure content is age-appropriate and meets educational objectives

Collaborate with visual designers, curriculum managers, and company leaders to determine appropriate instructional approaches

Develop and manage project plans to create and deliver high-quality math content

Research and analyze content requirements and strategies

K–5 math teaching experience - experience as math coach or math supervisor is a plus

Experience in curriculum development and instructional design

Identify key team members and coach them for greater responsibilities and future management roles as part of succession planning.

A minimum of 5 years of project oversight, including financial oversight, and staff management experience are essential.

Manage the work of senior staff members on one or more projects in the following responsibilities:

Provide math curricular and pedagogical leadership for the team, including leadership on cognitive and learning science and equity in math education.

Utilize systems-thinking practices and tools, inquiry, assessment literacy, educational best practices to address relevant and timely issues impacting the learning environment

Participate in efforts related to beta and user experience testing

Participate in learning experiences with colleagues to maintain expertise related to the products and services provided by the organization
