Master of Science degree in Engineering may be substituted for one year experience.
Three (3) years of substation electrical engineering experience on renewable projects. Five years of experience strongly preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Electrical Substation Project Manager

Highly Preferred: Experience with Southern California Edison engineering standards and project management requirements
Knowledgeable on the Project Management Institute’s (PMI’s) standard for Organizational Project Management (OPM).
Mature knowledge of medium through extra high voltage substation protection & control systems and/or physical design layout requirements.
Capable of understanding and implementing new processes/procedures with regards to Project and Program management.
Identify project risks, create a project risk register and apply project risk management and mitigation techniques
Manage internal change order processes to meet Mesa’s and our customer’s requirements
