Identify and report critical results to providers.

Participate in quality improvement activities for the department.

Ensure that all patients are calm and relaxed during the process allowing for quality test output.

Monitor equipment throughout the test to ensure equipment is functioning properly.

Make appropriate accommodation to 12 lead EKG test such as perform right sided EKG for suspected right ventricular infarct.

Oversee the use of EKG equipment ensuring safe operation.
