Adjunct Faculty-Education (Franklin County P-5)

Completing, collecting, and submitting all required documents for student teaching according to program deadlines;

Conducting weekly communication with candidates in person, by phone, through zoom meetings and/or via e-mail;

Upload cover letter describing your skills and experience, and how they relate to the Minimum and Preferred Qualifications of this position

Utilize online learning management system and incorporate multiple modalities into curriculum planning.

Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office programs, learning management systems, and other appropriate instructional technologies

Master’s degree in Education, English, Math, Science, Communications, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

Two years of teaching experience, preferably in a community or technical college setting, and in multiple modalities.

Experience developing/modifying curriculum for High School, GED, or similar courses.

Skill in the use of educational technology highly desired

Experience in K-12 classroom setting desired

This adjunct faculty teaches undergraduate courses in Education.

Maintains office hours for assisting students

Participates in departmental and College affairs

Performs other duties as assigned

1+ years of relevant teaching experience

Experience with LMS (Moodle or Blackboard)

Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

18 graduate-level semester hours OR 30 graduate-level quarter hours in the teaching discipline

Master's degree in the teaching discipline
