Overview The DSHs ESA Customer Service Specialist 2 is responsible for providing customer service to clients of the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). This position is responsible for providing assistance to clients in the areas of eligibility, benefits, and other services. Detailed Job Description The DSHs ESA Customer Service Specialist 2 is responsible for providing customer service to clients of the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS). This position is responsible for providing assistance to clients in the areas of eligibility, benefits, and other services. The Customer Service Specialist 2 will answer questions, provide information, and assist clients in completing applications and other forms. The Customer Service Specialist 2 will also provide assistance to clients in navigating the DSHS system, including providing guidance on how to access services and resources. The Customer Service Specialist 2 will also provide support to other staff in the department, as needed. Job Skills Required• Excellent customer service skills
• Knowledge of DSHS policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
• Knowledge of computer systems and software
Job Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of customer service experience
• Experience working with DSHS or other government agencies
• Knowledge of DSHS policies and procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Knowledge
• Knowledge of DSHS policies and procedures
• Knowledge of computer systems and software
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to DSHS services
Job Experience
• Two years of customer service experience
• Experience working with DSHS or other government agencies
Job Responsibilities
• Provide customer service to clients of the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS)
• Answer questions, provide information, and assist clients in completing applications and other forms
• Provide assistance to clients in navigating the DSHS system, including providing guidance on how to access services and resources
