Driver Haul Truck Jobs in Texas

Calls Live Haul office daily to obtain scheduled instructions for loading time and destinations for live poultry pick-up and delivery.

Obtains a completed load record from Catching Foreman before departure from farm.

Operates vehicle in a safe and efficient manner at all times.

Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.

Must be able to lift 100 lbs.

Must be able to work in harsh weather conditions and in dusty areas.

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position

Possess strong mechanical aptitude, knowledge and skills

Experience in the maintenance and operation of mobile equipment and/or equipment used processing plants

Six (6) months experience as a haul truck driver or other related experience preferred

Possess effective coordination and communication skills

Operates a haul truck within the company guidelines and safety standards

Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.

Professional written and verbal communication skills

Two (2) years over the road tractor-trailer experience

Three (3) months of fork or squeeze truck experience

Follow practices and processes intended to provide safe products that comply with appropriate laws and regulations, meet the company quality standards

Operate a tractor with trailer inter/intrastate to pick up and/or deliver merchandise.

Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience, required

Clear verbal and written communication skills, must be able to read, write, speak, and follow directions in English

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of equipment each job

Verify and complete required documentation and reports

Follow instructions and complete the required training

Work variable schedule to meet business needs

Must have 6-months of experience operating a commercial Class A vehicle

CDL-A Truck Drivers will make up to $1600 per week

Drivers will get home weekly on this account

Drivers will operate in a regional perimeter
